SANJIV SETH, DPS MR 1974 Born in Pune, to an Army family Sanjiv was lucky to have studied in some of the most prestigious schools (Lawrence school Sanawar, Delhi Public School Mathura Road, and Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition (IHMC&N), Pusa. After graduating from IHMC&N in 1978 he started his career at the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel in Bombay. He then worked in Switzerland and London England, before returning to India to join the opening team at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New-Delhi. Sanjiv currently resides in Canada. Having migrated to Canada in 1987 he considers himself fortunate to have worked at three reputable organizations in Canada. (The Four Seasons Hotels, University Health Network, and Dana Hospitality.) After managing several mergers and opening new Hospitals he decided to retire in 2017 so that he and his wife Karin could travel the world. He now lives at his lake house in Coboconk, two hours northeast of Toronto. His passion for travel has taken him to 18 countries and 46 cities around the world. With travel being non-existent currently, he spends his retirement golfing and fishing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. Sanjiv's aunt Mrs. Khanna was a teacher at DPS Mathura Road and his sister is currently teaching at DPS Mathura Road. He has many memories of his classmates and of Mr. Din Dayal the then Principal of the school. Until 2018 he used to visit India almost every year.
