When people collaborate, whether at work or as a team, the results can be astounding. The same holds true for members of an Dipsites Network It doesn't matter if one is collaborating with alumni right next door or alumni on the other side of the globe, one can now easily join hands, voices and vocal cords, with the ease of technology, to collaborate in pitch, rhythmic beats, tune et al. As proven by a dozen alumni of DIPSITES GLOBAL NETWORK. From the Talk Show 'Phir bhi Dil hai Hindustani' Aug. 2020 Our DPS Alumni participants, from different countries in different continents, collaborated and sung from the bottom of their hearts. Jai Hind! Our first song We Will Survive an ode to the Corona warriors reminds us of the supreme power of nature, its fury and then, its benevolence too, to allow healing... bringing in some sunshine. We hope our song will play a big role in thanking all the Corona Warriors, and remind us that we're all in it together, and will survive it together. Let's quarantine and chill! Recordings were done via computers, mobile phones, without technical expertise of a recording studio nor a sound engineer. Each aspect of creating this song was handled remotely. This added to each individual's experience, inspiring the musician in us to expand our personality to an altogether different level. Our second song is Be Your Brave, an ode to the warrior within. The continuing damage of the Pandemic, most importantly, to the mind weakens it leading to surrender. But we are the sole warriors of the battlefield inside us against our fears and anxieties, and this song attempts to give hope, reason to dream, fight! Contributors have never met one another, and singing, recording and putting the song together during the lockdown has been nothing short of a revelation for us all: Mind is the final frontier. This was, then, a voyage to explore a new method of putting our hearts together, to seek out a new method, to boldly attempt Social Distancing without Emotional Distancing....go where very few have tread thus far. Our third song is For Whom They Die, an ode to the warrior on the borders.
