Anu Goswamy Seam

Anu Goswamy Seam, DPS MR 1976
Anu's connections with DPS run deep. Not only are both Anu and her brother Dipsites, but her father was Vice-Chair and Chair of the DPS Society for many years. As such, Anu witnessed first-hand the tremendous growth of DPS and often joined her old teachers - who later became principals of the new schools - in their annual celebrations.

Anu currently is Assistant Vice President - Senior Legal Counsel at AT&T. She has been on the cutting edge of technology and law for many years with extensive experience at AT&T, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Communications Commission and the Minnesota Attorney General's office.

She also is extensively involved with pro bono and professional organizations in the community and was President of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She is on the Board of Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta and Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network, providing legal assistance to non-profits and immigrants.

In her spare time, Anu loves hiking, traveling, yoga, reading, and meeting with friends. She hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2016, John Muir trail in Scotland in 2018, and summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa earlier this year.

Her homes in the US have been many: she has lived in Minnesota, Washington DC, San Antonio, Texas, and currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She also has a base in San Francisco, CA, where her daughter resides. But she says when she thinks of "home" she is transported instantly to Delhi and to the family and friends she adores. She never misses an opportunity to visit her favorite Lodhi Gardens and India International Center and loves checking out the new wine and coffee bars, restaurants, and bookstores in town.
